hahaha… my friends and i did a tiny experiment the other day in which we took turns trying to read small text from far away. Turns out the only two people in the room who could do it were the only two non-Asians. Go figure.
hahah well i suppose to explain some of the above excitement, i’ve been promised since I was a little kid that my eyes would stop getting worse when I stopped growing, and that “growing” deadline kept extending from 16 to 18 to 21, and now it’s finally ok :D I’d say it’s not perfect even with the glasses, but better than nothing. And if it’s stable for 5 years i’m a candidate for laser correction, so… ^_^
haha, my prescription hasn’t changed for like….5 years?? but yea, I guess it doesn’t make that much of a difference since I’m blind as a bat 5 years ago.
Hum, with the laser correction, they only recommend that your 21 or older, and that your prescription hasn’t changed in 6 months…
guess who is thinking about getting it done this year? ^^
yeah, 21 or older, though I was told you’d need a 2 – 4 year stable perspecription to have it done…
would be ok for you! you’ve been wearing contacts for a while, so it’s not that big a change :D I’ve thought about it a bit too. I wonder if I could just get partial correction, because I think glasses are a part of my identity ;o) it’d mean cheaper glasses! :D
