About pushing the sky
pushing the sky is named after a song that caught my fancy back once-upon-a-time. You may be familiar with it from the Cowboy Bebop Movie soundtrack, from the band The Seatbelts.
It’s a blog, of sorts, which tends to wander wherever I see fit.
About the Author
Hello, my name is Karan, and I’m an alcoh- geek.
(Well, likely the former, too.)
I’m an Australian of Indian origin, and I’ve worked for the past 10 years in the financial technology space. I’ve got an interest in all manner of things, including movies, books, politics, cars, photography and of course the advance of technology in general.
I’ve tended to ruminate here on a number of topics, posts of which are roughly categorised and tagged to varying degrees; no particular theme or topic runs throughout, and my voice and what I’ve shared has changed over the years as I’ve grown.
Posts are sporadic, much more so recently.
If you’d like to get in touch, use the comments, or use the social links – I’m on Twitter as @karanj.
